Now taking nominations for Caregiver of the Quarter. Each quarter beginning the 4th quarter of 2009
a caretaker will be recognized for their efforts helping others.
The more nominations a person gets the better the chance of them being chosen for Caregiver of the
Quarter. Rules are as follows: The caretakers nominated must have worked in their field for the last
six months, and have had no negative actions taken against them in regards to abuse, or neglect in
the past. All persons nominated must currently reside or work within a 70 mile radius of the greater
Duluth area.
Anyone can nominate a caregiver, fellow caregivers, providers, and people receiving care from the
caregiver nominated. All nominations will be validated to ensure the nominations are legitimate. Not all
nominations will be chosen to be eligible for open voting for Caregiver of the Quarter.
People will be able to vote for the nominated caregivers for a period of two weeks in the month
following any quarter. Quarters are as follows 1st quarter is Jan 1st through March 31st, 2nd quarter
is from April 1st through June 30th, 3rd quarter is from July 1st through Sept 30th, and the 4th
quarter is from Oct 1st through Dec 31st.
All nominations must be received by 11:59 pm on the last day of the quarter to be eligible for
Caregiver of the Quarter.
Caregivers that are nominated will be judged on, job performance, co-worker interviews, client
recommendations, and length of service.
